Great Resource for New and Seasoned Bloggers

by Don Gilbert on January 9, 2010

I have been scouring the web for resources for bloggers, both new and seasoned. In my searches, I have come across several sites, but one of the most useful sites that I have found up to this point is Site Sketch 101. This is a blog that offers great tips on design, content, and just general web “best practices.”

Some of the more helpful posts that I have found over there are listed below.

What Do We Really Know About PageRank?
6 Crucial Ways to Keep Readers Onboard
Great Blogs are Fueled by Passion and Power

Really, this is just a small list of great content over there at Site Sketch 101. Check it out. It can seriously improve your blogging.

  • Don,
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your tweet-this.php file with me. I've tried using your code from:
    http://richardxthripp.thripp.com/tweet-this-custom-url-services/comment-page-1#comment-62347
and it hasn't worked out for me. I'm running my own YOURLS.org shortner and really am striking out with the whole Tweet This buttons.
  • SiteSketch is a great blog - I missed some of the posts you mentioned. Im on my way back to the blog to check them out
  • Don,

I'm currently a subscriber and a regular visitor of SiteSketch101.com every day. It's a great place to find information whether you're just starting as a blogger or know a thing or two about blogging.

I really like: Comments with Real Names Build Credibility. I actually just use BluePop13 right now, however I do see his point. It's better to use your own name.

I like how you have specific links to your favourite articles.
  • Great! I am glad you found your way over here to the IFB Design Blog. I look forward to providing great content and to build a community, much like we have going there at SiteSketch101.
